My Journey as the Founder of ATM.TV at 7-Eleven®
It all started with a dream and a vision. I had been working in the digital-out-of-home (DOOH) advertising space for many years, and I saw an opportunity to make an impact in the convenience store industry. After a lot of hard work, research, and dedication, I launched ATM.TV at 7-Eleven®.
ATM.TV allows advertisers to target HD screens placed above ATM units at more than 8,500 participating 7-Eleven® stores across the US. We are proud to reach over 5 billion people per year at this number 1 convenience store on the planet. We’ve been fortunate enough to work with some of the biggest brands around, including AT&T, Lotto, Chase Bank, Live Nation, Allstate Insurance, MoneyGram and many more totaling over 150 different advertisers and growing.
The journey has been long and rewarding. From the early days of securing funding for the business to convincing 7-Eleven® to partner with us, there have been a lot of highs and lows. One of the biggest challenges was getting people to understand why we thought this would be successful. Our concept was revolutionary and there was a lot of doubt that it would be successful. But with a lot of hard work and dedication we proved our skeptics wrong and built something truly remarkable.
Throughout my journey I’ve learned a lot about business, leadership and most importantly, myself. It’s been an incredible experience that I will never forget.
